Our Horses

BOBBY ON THE BEAT
Eight weeks after moving to Racefield Stables, Bobby broke his maiden and gave Ruby Red Racing its first win. He is now a five-time winner, nine-placed and was an incredible first purchase for the syndicate.
He’s a consistent six-year-old gelding, but even more significant, he is such a kind horse, and our owners have all fallen in love with him. Bobby will enjoy this summer in the field, and we look forward to more wonderful days during the next all-weather season.

BOBBY ON THE BEAT
Bobby On The Beat was Ruby Red Racing’s first choice horse at the Tattersalls HIT sales in October 2021 and has been a star for the team ever since.

LIEUTENANT RASCAL
Lt. Rascal was purchased at the Tattersalls Guineas Sale in May this year, and we were delighted to secure him from our shortlist. From his 12 races, he has won once, placed in the top 4 7 times, ran at Royal Ascot and in a competitive stakes race at Newmarket, which closed out his 2-yo season. We have seen his potential and hope to have fun with him on the turf this summer.

PRADA ON PAROLE
We’ve teamed up with friend of Ruby Red Racing, Hayley Burton, to partner in her two-year-old filly, Prada On Parole. The daughter of Without Parole is trained by Amy Murphy in Newmarket and she makes an exciting addition to the team for the turf season.

Alumni

Shorts On, spent 2 years with the syndicate and provided us 2 wins, which included a victory on his first start for us and our first turf success at Yarmouth. He built a great relationship with his regular jockey, Josephine Gordon, who now has him in retirement. We look forward to following their journey.

Tia Dalma was a little pocket rocket purchased privately from Ireland in May-22. Her sire, the speedy Prince Of Lir, and her dam (unraced) out of a Sheik Mohammed-owned Saddler’s Wells mare. We made the tough decision to retire Tia after five starts and three brilliant 2nd place finishes. She is now enjoying life in the slow lane in the Suffolk countryside, with a wonderful owner. Forever a star for us.

Grand Central, the loveable rogue, will be much happier hacking around Dorest with his new owner and admiring beautiful views. He unfortunately didn’t fulfil his potential on the track, but we had great days out at the Craven and Guineas meeting with his owners. He has a great life ahead of him.
